故事大綱
馬安山、任飛揚、關照星為同門師兄弟，師承晚清名廚汪東海。東海女兒若嵐對安山情有獨鍾，不介意成為安山兩子永禎與永寧的後母。飛揚為破壞二人感情，設計陷害安山，令安山被逐出師門，惟東海竟將女兒若嵐許配給照星，並讓照星繼承自己的衣缽。
飛揚怒火中燒，暗中將瀉藥放入照星將要呈獻給老皇爺品嚐的湯水裡，老皇爺服後，竟一命嗚呼。東海一家被控以殺人罪，飛揚又使出計謀，勸服安山擔起殺害老皇爺罪...
