You have completed studies or training in Germany or in another OECD country
OR
You were employed in your profession for at least two years in Germany or in another OECD country
AND
You would like to return to your country of origin or to another developing, emerging or transition country to take up employment there.
What is decisive for financial support is the development policy significance of your application and your personal qualifications, including your training /education and professional experience. You must register online prior to your departure from Germany. If you wish to apply for financial support for travel and transport, you must apply for this, too, before your departure. There is no legal entitlement to support.

Financial support is offered for experts returning to the following priority countries: Afghanistan, Bolivia, Bosnia, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Georgia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Moldova, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine and Viet Nam, and also for Palestinian returnees.
