应该是不免费的。 至少我之前用的时候都是不免费的。

小补充一下，这个Eurail pass可以坐全部的车，只有规定订座位的车，比如德国往返法国这种，或者夜车，需要加钱。但是加的是预定座位的钱。
另外，在德国待超过6个月以上就不能买这种Pass了，只能买Interpass，但是只能买Interpass中间global的那种，或者非德国境内的单一国家pass。
