When we are silent no more, you say we are brainwashed-xenophobes.

“Why do you hate us so much﹖”we asked.

“No,” you answered, “we don't hate you.”

We don't hate you either, but, do you understand us?

“Of course we do, ”you said, “We have AFP, CNN and BBC's ……”

What do you really want from us?

Think hard first, then answer, Because you only get so many chances.

Enough is enough, enough hypocrisy for this one world.

We want one world, one dream, and peace on earth.

This big blue earth is big enough for all of us.

这首诗是2008年被炮制出来，2008年4月25日林多梁教授已经亲口否认这首诗是他写的。有人匿名把这首词发到他的电子信箱里，他觉得有点意思，遂与他人分享，结果这首诗就变成了林多梁教授写的诗了。之后有人在网上传发时，专门为这首诗加了前面的那一段“台词”，就这样在网上传开了。其实一个在美国生活了50多年的台湾人，怎么会写出大陆极端民族主义者的呓语呢？我觉得题目是质问西方，倒不如扪心自问，我们该如何活在这世上，才算得上是活着。

写的部分是事实，不过用这种委屈的口吻写明显是弱者的心态。美国人早就说过，好的印第安人是死的印第安人。所以与其抱怨和质疑，不如去努力当一个称职的"敌人"。
