我之前问北京大使馆，他们的答复是不需要。If you got a Verpflichtungserklrung (which we recommend) then thesalary statements from Germany (and rental contract) are not necessaryanymore: Salary statements are a measure other Schengen countries haveto fall back on because they do not issue letters of guarantee. Whenapplying at the German embassy, a Verpflichtungserklrung is definitelypreferred as the immigration office has then checked your financialbackground in Germany properly.
