故事讲讲大理王子段誉（汤镇业）。性擅习文而恶习武，偏偏无意间学会几种上乘武功，包括凌凌微步及六脉神剑等。他先后爱上几个少女，但发沉全部是父亲段正淳（谢 贤）的私生女。段誉欣适丐帮帮主乔峰（梁家仁），并结拜为兄弟。乔峰为人正气凛然，后来知道自己是辽人。痛苦万分，又被诬为杀师试父母的大罪人，顿觉天下之大无处容 身。幸得知已阿朱（黄杏秀）相伴，但好影不长，顿觉万念俱灰，而乔峰又误会段正淳，硬接乔峰一掌死去。乔峰伤痛欲绝，携同阿朱的胞妹阿紫远赴塞外，遇上契丹皇并助他 平定叛乱。
剧中人物虚竹和尚（黄日华），段正淳（谢贤）之子段誉（汤镇业）和乔峰（梁家仁）是三个年纪相若，意气相投的结拜兄弟。虚竹和尚下山，因缘际会学到绝世神功 ，做了遥派掌门和灵宫主人，稍后又做了西 夏驸马，再加上慕容博，慕容复（石修）之子的颠覆阴试想，交织出本剧集的主要情节。 写情方面，段誉委承其父的俊朗神采，甚得少女的垂青，与钟灵（黄杏秀）及王语嫣（陈玉莲）的一段恋情，难解难分……

【故事梗概】
商朝末年，纣王一统天下，勤政爱民。 万民安居乐业，四海升平。西伯侯之子姬发和冀州侯苏护之女妲己在一次狩猎中，偶然相遇，一见钟情，坠入爱河。两人山盟海誓，情比金坚。王叔比乾之女青君自与姬发一次邂逅之后，便陷入对姬发的暗恋之中。青君多次欲向姬发表达爱意，无奈不敢开口。只能看着心上人与妲己在一起欢乐的生活。纣王在梦中见一美女，醒后寝食难安，相思成疾，遂命画师将梦中之女画出，令全国送此容貌的美女进宫。岂料，纣王梦中之美女正是妲己容貌。 妲己在被强征入宫之前，与姬发难舍难分，两人痛苦分离，肝肠寸断。 姬发誓要解救妲己。妲己入宫之后，仍想念姬发，不肯服侍纣王。一只修成人形的狐狸，贪恋人间繁华，于是便进入妲己体内，想尝试一下被君王宠爱的感觉。 于是，在妲己身上，一会是她自己，一会是千年狐狸精。狐狸精在与纣王的相处之中，逐渐爱上这个有情有义的君王。纣王由于宠爱妲己，不理朝政。姬发为了夺回心上人，于是在一老叟姜尚的协助下，号称武王兴兵讨伐商纣。在战斗过程中，青君为了替心上人挡住一箭，献出了自己的生命。不过，在临死前，看到心上人为她留下了眼泪，青君含笑而终。大军很快攻入朝歌。 纣王自知大势已去，于是自焚。狐狸精毅然与其共蹈火海。最后，真妲己看到梦寐以求的心上人，感动的流下了眼泪。但她意识到人们将把她斥责为祸国的红颜，于是在满足了自己的心愿后，挥剑自刎。 武王怀抱妲己的尸体，放声大哭，感天动地。一部“封神榜”自此完结。

【内容简介】
明末年间朝政腐败、民不聊生，袁崇焕屡破清兵，但却为不辨忠奸的昏君崇祯所杀。焕之子袁承志（黄日华）为忠臣所救，长大后被送上华山习武，期间无意发现金蛇郎君（苗侨伟）之秘笈，武功大进，志学成下山，结识了李岩（吴启华），时闯王率兵起义，两人合力助之。
志遇上温青青（庄静而），因此被卷入温家的纠纷中，其后两人闯荡江湖，建立了真挚爱情；后志与祯之女阿九（毛舜筠）相遇，九被志深深吸引，一段三角关系由此而生……
闯王进占京城后，闯军军纪败坏，奸淫掳掠无所不为。闯王亦沉迷酒色，甚至听信谗言而杀害忠心耿耿的岩。志痛心疾首，遂隐居不问世事。
