不过，as you cited，traders are offered higher bonus. They are not quants. Usually, quants stay in the back office or go to the front office. There will be more bonus in the trading floor. But that doesnot mean, they have the same as traders since they make decisions and make profit.

其实， 楼主真的想得有些多了。 你如果在前台作了一阵子，之后只要有本事，哪里需要担心失业。quants这样的位置时很少会失业的。至少在德国之这样。

想问一下楼主， 是什么专业的呢？硕士毕业？
