看看达赖藏毒在印度的老巢穴 -达兰萨拉. 一个很破的小镇达兰萨拉这个城市的历史并不太长：它在1849年成立 长久以来，达兰萨拉一直都与印度教及佛教连结起来。过往在当地有不少佛教寺院建立，都是由从8世纪开始由西藏过来的移民所兴建。不过，这些寺院大多数都已荒废，反而印度教却有复兴的迹像。
1848年，达兰萨拉随同印度次大陆的其他地方一起被英国吞并，并于一年后由英军在当地建立城镇。1852年，达兰萨拉成为了Kangra区的行政首府。
