rather than德语怎么翻译合适？

As originally derived, these tests require a simple rather than compound hypothesis.
这句英语该怎么翻译成德语？主要是下划线部分。

还有个问题，比如 Für XXX, 或者Deshalb, 像这样的有个逗号，后面的句子动词应该在第几位呢？

- keine bestimmte sondern nur eine einfache Hypothese.
- eine einfache anstatt komplizierte Hyphthese.
- eher eine einfache als ...
