Only some tiny problems: “quality control” instead of "controlling".“it's quality meets our quality standard" should be " it meets our quality standard" to avoid redundency. "Electrical appliance" rather than "electronic appliance". And in the last sentence past tense should be used here.

4) Kürzlich habe ich mir eine externe Festplatte mit 250 Gigabytes Speicherkapazität gekauft. Unglaublich. Ich habe gleich den kompletten Inhalt der italienischen National-Bibliothek drauf gepackt - große Werke der Welt-Literatur.
5) Wenn ich verreise, stecke ich das Ding einfach in meinen Koffer und packe es in meinem Hotelzimmer in Hongkong wieder aus. Und da habe ich dann immer die komplette Edition von Shakespeares Werken, die Bibel oder den Koran vor mir.

1. The purpose of our quality control lies in that each product, before leaving the factory, should be examined/inspected over and over to make sure it meets our company's quality standards/requirements before sold to custumers.
2. Our products are expexted to meet very high requirements.
3. Most of american electrical appliances like lamps, wash maschines and electric drills are certified/licensed/approved from the underwriter's labs.
4. Twenty years ago the product range/assortment of our company included/comprised/covered/consisted of electric typewriters and copy maschines. Today it embraces/includes/covers PCs, fax maschines, softwares, printers and modems.
