Cancer Horoscope for November 2009

November starts with a full moon, November 2, so you may be excited about attending a party or other group event that promises to be quite special - even luxurious. This full moon will be in Taurus, a sensuous sign that is associated with good food, flowers, music, special wines - in short, all of life's pleasures. This event may be a wedding, club event, charity fundraiser, a birthday or anniversary party, or even a beautiful professional event. You may be a guest, organizer, or speaker, or might be taking any other role in this gathering. In fact, you may be an actor in a special production.
While this event is likely to be in real life, it is also possible you may be working with an online presence, such as building your page on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, or finishing your profile on a romantic dating site. You may be putting the final touches on your new blog or website, or you may be doing a webinar or teleconference. If so, your timing will be perfect. It's a great time to draw people to you.
All full moons have an area of influence of plus or minus four to five days, so this event may have occurred as early as October 30 or may still occur later, as late as November 7.
This full moon is not an easy one, as most of the other planets will square off against one another and obstacles may surface. Money may be your main concern, so you may be concerned about the cost involved with attending this event or online presence, because this full moon will be in hard angle to Mars in your second house of earned income. It seems you will go anyway, perhaps because doing so is important to you. That won't make it any easier, but it seems you know you won't want to miss this experience.
If you were born on July 1, plus or minus five days, you will feel this full moon most. This moon will be in supportive angle to your Sun, a good sign that you can make events work in your favor.
Let's talk a bit more about money, which has apparently been on your mind since Mars entered your second house of income and savings on October 16. Expenses have been mounting, and you have been trying to hold the line while you work on finding new sources of income. Keep up efforts. In the meantime, there will be one piece of good news due, so let's look at that.
Neptune is presently based in your eighth house of other people's money, but has been retrograde since May 29. You will see progress, for Neptune will speed forward on November 4. This should help you get money owed to you if you have had problems getting paid. The areas of gain that come under the umbrella of "other people's money" would be money from a slow-paying client, an insurance claim, an ex for child support, an employer for severance or unemployment insurance, an inheritance, or other financial aid you applied for - money like that will loosen up now. If you disagreed with a court ruling or insurance company, you are likely to finally see the tide turn in your favor.
Now that Neptune is moving at better speed, it will also help you organize your finances with greater clarity. If you are in a creative field, Neptune's direct motion will also help you sell your work. If a client has been mulling things over, watch the time near November 2 for possible news that you can finally move forward with an approval.
Neptune is the planet of dreams and fantasy, but in a money house, so it will be important that you keep a strong grip on finances. Get everything in writing if you work with others and hope to make a commission or fee from the work you contribute. It's always a lovely quality to be optimistic, but when drawing up estimates, you need to stay realistic. You might unknowingly inflate your expectations due to Jupiter's proximity to Neptune. This placement of Neptune and Jupiter works exceptionally well for Cancers who work in the arts, in digital media, or on other creative endeavors, but would probably be less helpful to those in other fields, such as real estate, insurance, banking, and so forth.
If you are working on getting a degree at a university, efforts to get ahead, either as student or instructor, will also be aided by Neptune's forward motion. This is because your solar ninth house of higher education is ruled by Neptune. You will also see progress in the fields that deal with information - the Internet, publishing, and broadcasting - as the distribution of information comes under the ninth house. There will be several sparkling days to watch for progress in these areas: November 11, 13-15, and 25.
Life will seem easier, lighter, and more fun after the new moon in fellow water sign Scorpio on November 16. More fun and evenings out will be possible, and you'll feel your shoulders relax and the smile return to your face. If your friends have been promising to play matchmaker, ask them to do so now. Venus will be circulating in the perfect-for-Cancer sign of Scorpio from November 7 to December 2, a wonderful coincidence. Of all the places gentle Venus could be, this is where she will do you the most good.
Venus will help you improve your looks too, so take that time from November 7 onward to book salon, barber shop, or spa treatments. Consider looking cared for and well groomed - you'll come off more confident and sexy. You won't have to try too hard, for you have magnetic Venus in your corner. If you had Mars, a very assertive planet, in your fifth house of love, I would advise you to work very hard at finding the one for you, and to even steel your courage and make the first move. But I won't because Venus teaches just the opposite - to sit back and let your natural allure draw others to you. Play hard to get. With Venus in your house of true love, you need not exert yourself. What a lovely situation to be in!
If you are attached, you may be feeling the presence of Pluto in your house of committed love. Saturn is firmly anchoring you to home and family, perhaps because one of your parents needs care. You may find that your partner doesn't understand your need to spend so much time at your mother or father's home. Or, it may be that your partner is jealous of the time you have to spend with family or children. With Saturn in the fourth house, you aren't there because you are necessarily enjoying yourself, but because there's a real need and you are the only person in your family that can respond.
If it is not your parents or other family member that have your attention, it may be that you are concerned about a housing situation that is quite complex. This will take months or possibly several years to fix, but you can do it if you take a step-by-step approach. Cancers born at the start of the sign, from June 21 to 25, are feeling home-related responsibilities the most now.
It also appears that you would like to significantly refresh and renew your relationship with your partner, but the home or family situation may be getting in the way. It may be that your partner is currently going through a major life change. Even so, you can make yourself happy this month - just don't rely too much on your partner. The new moon is helping you get out of the house and to find time to relax. If you have children, you will have time to spend with them, and as a Cancer, having time with your children is indeed golden.
In the United States, Thanksgiving is coming on November 26, and the two days prior, November 24 and 25, will be very encouraging for love and travel. If you are celebrating with family or going off to simply start your own holiday traditions, you will enjoy yourself to the fullest. If you don't live in the US, you can still travel with the person you're smitten with, and as a matter of fact, I hope you do!
Your most romantic dates of the month: November 1-6 (due to the full moon) and 14-15 (thanks to the Sun trine Uranus). Romance will ratchet up another notch after the new moon November 16, plus two weeks. In the second half, note the dates of November 19, 20, 24-25 (gold stars), and November 29.
Summary
As you begin November you seem excited about a very special event that you'll attend and that will draw many of your friends together. This is all due to the full moon, November 2, in your social eleventh house. There's a chance there will be lots of people you don't know, too - if one seems interesting, you could have an opportunity to make a new friend or even get a career tip, thanks to Pluto's good angle to that full moon. Mars will be in tough angle to that moon, and you may be concerned about the cost of participating. Still, this event seems quite special, so going may be worth the cost.
Your sensitivity about money brings up a whole other discussion, which is now an even touchier subject for you than it was a few months ago. These days, Mars is in Leo, urging you to increase spending and will continue to do so through the first half of 2010. You will need to take a safe, conservative route with your finances and get to high ground in a hurry. Perhaps the reason for this outlay is due to a massive lifestyle change you are now creating, one that will require an outlay of cash to make happen. In that case, you probably knew this was coming, so do the best you can and watch your money carefully.
Your housing situation may change dramatically soon, or a serious family question, possibly involving one of your parents, may come up. Saturn has just entered this area of your chart last month for the first time since 1980 to mid-1983. Saturn will stay in your home, property, and family house until 2012. If you feel the question you are facing is a tough one, slow down and break your problem into small, manageable pieces. Look logically at all your options and be creative about finding unusual answers that never occurred to you before. You could see a breakthrough on or near November 24.
The one part of your chart that will be working very well this month will concern your love life. If you are saying to yourself, "WHAT love life?" then be comforted by knowing the new moon on November 16 will act like a little Cupid, hoping to couple you up. Happily, Uranus, the planet of surprises you'd never expect, will send the new moon a shimmering beam - just after November 16, adopt an adventurous spirit and see what the world has to offer you. It looks good for you through the whole second half of this month.
With Venus in Scorpio, filling your fifth house of true love, you'll leave a haunting impression, and Venus will help you find romance almost all month, from November 7-30. If you travel on or near November 11, 14-15, or 25-26, you should find these dates sparkle, and this is true whether you are attached or single.
