Our Client is a European leading manufacturer of drainage solutions with global presence
around the world. They are currently establishing a small production plant in Beijing
(between 5 to 10 workers) and looking for an experienced Production Manager or Production
Team Leader to lead and manage the factory.
Production Manager/Plant Manager – Beijing, China
Responsibilities:
 Report to the Board of Directors and German HQ
 Technical advisor for customers of local produced products
 Overall responsibility for production and delivery in time at specified quality
 Coordinating and controlling the production process, controlling the costs
 Communicating with German HQ and supporting the improvement of the
products
Requirements:
The production in China is manual assembly, not automatic production. Different components
from German HQ and local suppliers will be assembled and welded together. The most
important and critical production step in China is the manual wedge welding of the material
HDPE (high density polyethylene) to form containers or tanks. So if you have experience in
processing Polyethylene or in wedge welding, you are most welcomed.
 University Degree or professional training in Engineering, Production/Manufacturing,
Mechanics, Polymer processing, Business, Economics or related fields
 Hands-on experience in manufacturing
 Experience in leading a small production team (skilled workers) as Production
Manager, Team Leaders, or similar position
 Work experience in a Western company is a plus
 Excellent communication and presentation skills
 Excellent command of English and good knowledge of German required
 Strong team spirit and self motivated, capability to work independently
