The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI or B&R[1]), known in China as the One Belt One Road[a] and sometimes referred to as the New Silk Road,is a global infrastructure development strategy adopted by the Chinese government in 2013 to invest in more than 150 countries and international organizations.The BRI is composed of 6 urban development land corridors linked by road, rail, energy, and digital infrastructure and the Maritime Silk Road linked by the development of ports.

丝绸之路经济带和21世纪海上丝绸之路，简称一带一路（英语：The Belt and Road Initiative，标准英文缩写：B&R），是中国政府于2013年倡议并发起的全球基础设施发展战略，旨在投资近150多个国家和国际组织。这一战略由六条以公路、铁路、能源和数字基础设施为纽带的城市发展陆路通道和以港口发展为纽带的海上丝绸之路组成。



The initiative is aimming at "a bid to enhance regional connectivity and embrace a brighter future."

该倡议“旨在加强区域互联互通，拥抱更美好的未来”。
