被拒以后写过一封信,这是他们的回信。
希望对想在德国签美国签证的国人有帮助吧。里面对我们在这里申请的弱点写得还是比较清楚的。准备材料和面签的时候,引以为鉴。
Dear Ms. :
Thank you for e-mail. We understand that you don't agree with ourdecision. According to U.S. Immigration law, an applicant must clearlyestablish to the consular officer at the time of the interview that: 1)he will not abandon a residence abroad; 2) his visit to the UnitedStates will be for a limited duration; and 3) he will not engage inactivities inconsistent with his visa while in the United States. Inaddition, students must be able to demonstrate that they have strongfinancial resources and a demonstrated commitment to higher education.
You currently have limited residency here in Germany and have resided inGermany for a short period of time. You have no strong, permanent ties here. In order for someone to show significant ties to their country of residence, they will have shown a long-term commitment to ajob, a relationship or have investments (real or financial), or along-term course of study. Unfortunately, you did not yet demonstratethat you had any of these connections to Germany. Applicants should apply for a visa in their country of usual residence, i.e. where theyhave the greatest ties. If you feel your ties to China are sufficient to overcome section 214(b) I would encourage you to apply there.
At a later date, should you feel that your circumstances have changedenough to meet the requirements listed above, you may reapply. If you are physically present in Germany, you may make an appointment for a visa interview by calling our Visa Information Service at 0900-1-850055. We are sorry that our decision cannot be more favorable at this time.
Sincerely,Nonimmigrant Visa Unit Chief |
