如果列的宽度太窄，其中内容就会省略（缩短）显示。无论’running or directing surface‘（没上下文，不知道怎么翻）是否已经测量，第2、3列的都会标示’X‘。

runnig surface 共有三个义项，波状表面, 跑合面, 轮轨接触面。这里我觉得是第一个意思，但只凭上面两句话是绝对不够的，还要楼主自己分析决定。向对的directing， 我就译成光滑表面。 具体如下
