Internship openings on Document Computing at Siemens Corporate Research,

The Data Integration Group of the Integrated Data Systems Department of
Siemens Corporate Research has two internship openings on document computing
, with a flexible starting date from Sep/Oct. The duration is at least 6
months, and longer stay is preferable. In this position, the successful
candidates will conduct leading-edge research on emerging technologies, as
well as develop business-enabling solutions for our partner companies in
diverse fields from medical imaging to transportation systems to power
generation. Successful innovative candidates will have chance to submit
patent applications and conference/journal publications.

Knowledge and skills required:
-VC++, C# and Java proficiency
-Windows programming experience
-Strong knowledge of XML related technologies
-Programming experiences in any of PDF toolkits are highly preferable -
Commercial database programming experience
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills a must
-German and English language fluency
