9 ], L+ L. l) @. The following programme is not suitable for children在这组句子中用后面的说法会更合适。" [0 U5 o, o- \! \6 x- y# u. |

What’s your job?
5 ]* f: {" }, F h5 V- Y R: Are you working at the moment?+ x1 ^9 w9 ~: u, k
Are youworking at the moment? Where are you working thesedays? What line of work are youin?

How to say?* p- F( T& F5 W# O& i. y" y
R: How do you say this in English?
$ B$ _4 S0 z; K* p G; z' R' K8 P' q Note:How to say是在中国最为泛滥成灾的中国式英语之一,这决不是地道的英语说法。同样的句子有:请问这个词如何拼写?How do you
. w* g1 _) L& L6 ?spell that please? How do you pronounce this word?+ y2 z- Q" n5 S; _9 S5 e
; w2 z9 o Q. X2 r( e- d; j! n5. I have something to do tomorrow?) B& g) W. A7 q' \! c+ @ Q
R: Sorry but I am tied up all day tomorrow.
# J( q% x' E1 Y& ?) d Note: 用I have something todo来表示您很忙,这也完全是中国式的说法。 I’m I can’t make it at that time. I’d love to, but I can’t,I have to stay at home.- d. H* Q; _2 R2 |, ^/ Z4 x; f

I haven’t English name.' D3 b; n, U/ n. v" J
R: I don’t have an English name.; K; a6 c2 W* \/ g `/ i
+ M9 @: k+ S# a4 y: @3 J( X$ r 明白道理是一回事,习惯是另一回事,请您再说几话:我没有钱;I don’t have any money. I don’t have any brothers or sisters. I don’t have a car.* Y0 ]+ O }% A
) z# N, A- g# c2 q! X7. I think I can’t.
v! s7 e3 p6 v3 m R: I don’t think I can. U$ X4 {! V- I
I don’t dance well too.. x' T3 U% I: l6 ^
R: I am not a very good dancer either.
% Z3 _- S7 L+ E- s Note:当我们说不擅长做什么事情的时候,英语里面通常用not good at something,英语的思维甚至直接踊跃到:我不是一个好的舞者。

$ O, m/ P/ h( R+ i7 L6 y9. 现在几点钟了?What time is it now?5 W! g& K$ ^& X# C" i- t
R: What time is it, please?
9 C7 X* H* O/ i0 C1 E2 E1 ] Note:What time is it now这是一个直接从汉语翻译过的句子,讲英语的时候没有必要说now, 因为您不可能问what time was it yesterday, 或者what time is it tommorow? How are we doing for time?

My English is poor.9 j+ ?* M2 E9 O& z
R: I am not 100% fluent, but at least I am improving.: }5 o G9 l) g, H, l0 D
Note:有人开玩笑说,全中国人最擅长的一句英文是:My English is poor.实话说,我从来没有遇到一个美国人对我说:My Chinese is poor. 无论他们的汉语是好是坏,他们会说: I am still having a few problem, but I getting better. 当您告诉外国人,您的英语很poor,so what(那又怎么样呢),是要让别人当场施舍给我们一些英语呢,还是说我的英语不好,咱们不谈了吧。一个更大的弊端是,一边不停的学英语,一边不停地说自己的英语很poor, 这正像有个人一边给车胎充气,又一边在车胎上扎孔放气。所以您不用说:我的英语很poor. 您可以实事求事地说,我的英语还不算十分流利,但至少我在进步。" J# U8 ]' q: H1 }

$ B- Z0 ~9 i3 G; U0 c/ w' p R: Would you like to come to our party on Friday night?' J H- ^$ u" d3 T4 ]/ _
Note:join往往是指参加俱乐部或者协会,如:join a health club; join the CommunistParty. 如go a wild party,或者come to aChristmas Party。& d+ b; @! q n; f

% ?$ K( t2 H0 O; S R: Sure. / Certainly.(这种说法是正确的)! w9 V8 @; X" {) @8 @: Z
! _* X, i- p) ^7 C
