management of Database problems

discussions with Database and software suppliers

analyzing, communication of database-failures

tracking of porblems

documentation of database requirements





work experience / requirements:

post graduated in: electrical engineering / computer science / gps /

database

profound knowledge of navigation and navigation-database outer field:

expert in data-creation-process (data-collection, raw-data, authoring, …)

base, integration of the navigation-database in navigation-software

(automotive-OEM, aftermarket-devices or consumer-navigation-devices like

PND’s)

typicall navigation functionalities (guidance: voice / instrument-cluster

/ main-map, destination-input, routequality, positioning,  …)

database-knowhow (process of authoring, interaction between application

and database)

expert in  the database-formats

chinese navigation market (knowledge of different products /

navigation-concepts: handheld-navigaiton, mobile-phone navigation, …)

testing of navigation-databases

at least 3 years professional experience in the development of navigation

database functionalities

language skills:

required:       chinese (mothertongue)

required:       english - very good / business fluent

desirable:      german / japanese
