It is true that MBA (Master of Business Administration) is a dedicated degree. In Germany, there are only a couple of business schools that can provide such a degree. % M: k% U" h( J& q/ Q

Therefore, as you said, the ordinary German Diplom BWL cannot be translated into Master of Business Administration. In fact, Diplom-Kaufmann/kauffrau (Diplom BWL) is often translated to Master of Science in Business Administration/Management.! s& c3 o" y. k# X" c( h' o8 n
?" _7 D( x% d6 iA variety of translations may appear. Maybe some dictionaries translate Diplom-Kaufmann into Master of Science in Business Economics or something else literally. Nevertheless, such a translation is not correct. As a matter of fact, Master of Science in Business Administration/Management is the widespread designation on an international basis. |
